I was a bit skeptic after seeing the price for this crib and not having many online reviews to base the purchase on. The price has since jumped around and I have no clue why it was discounted so much when I purchased it, but I definitely won't complain! This is an amazingly high quality crib that is MUCH MUCH sturdier than anything I found at Babies R Us or other local stores. The baby won't be here for another month, so my review is based only on initial setup and observations without real use of it.Pros:- Amazing quality - very sturdy crib - VERY heavy too which is pro and con. I honestly was shocked at how substantial this crib was when assembled.- Comes with rubber feet on posts which is great to protect my hardwood floors.- Automated lift is a wonderful feature and will definitely save my mother's back when picking up the baby (see cons below for other side of this). After resetting, the lift worked perfectly and is not very noisy.- Assembly was not too painful. Took me and one other person about an hour which is pretty quick for a crib. Most pieces are already assembled. I would highly recommend using your own socket set to tighten mattress spring instead of the cheap tool they provide - will save you a bit of time and ensure the bolts are snug.- I was nervous about lift motor going out, but I called the manufacturer and they informed me there is a 5 year warranty on the electric lift - I haven't seen that listed anywhere (even on shipping materials), but they assure me I can just call if anything happens to it.- Standard mattress crib fits perfectly in this.Cons:- Advertised as being a changing table replacement with the automated lift - the mattress does not come up high enough to truly act as a changing table. I have even put a changing pad on top of the mattress and I seriously doubt it will be comfortable for me to use this as a changing table. The mattress even with the changing pad is just too low inside of the crib to make it comfortable for changing a baby.- I purchased the "espresso" one, but the color is not quite espresso and not quite cherry. The closest I have seen to it is called "royal cherry". You may find it difficult to find exact matching furniture.- Instructions do not show how to covert to toddler bed. From what I can tell, you simply remove a few bolts on the front to remove the slats, but this is not listed anywhere in the instructions and the front was pre-assembled upon shipment, so it wasn't clear when putting it together.- Not sure if you can use bumpers with this. This wasn't something I thought of in advance, but I don't see how you can easily use bumpers since the mattress is meant to raise and lower and comes right up against the slats. I plan to try not using any bumpers.

The crib came fast, and with the wrong front rail. I called the manufacturer and they told me it will take 3-6 weeks to send me the right front rail....Frustrated and for the buck I paid I couldn't deal with the stress so I called Amazon start a return process....perhap ship it back piece by piece because I had already trashed the ripped up box it came in.Well I couldn't be happier when the dude at Amazon said not to worry and shipped me out a whole new set...and as well as schedule a pick up of the now old crib. Done.Setting up was a little pain and the manual wasn't very helpful....to reset the electronic lever, just hold down the stop button and the up button until the green light blinks 3 times, repeat same for the down button.I have to say this crib is the next best thing after my Roomba vacuum cleaner., it's sturdy, bold, imposing, impressive, smooth, button up, button down, stress free for all and overall exorbitant and somewhat worth it.I gave it 4 stars because it does not come up high enough to double as a changing table. Also, this crib is very big as in a twin size bed. It was designed for the baby nursery alone. It will not be a good idea to fit it your master bedroom or any room with another bed except you have twin size beds.Dream on folks.
