Lasts forever!

I got this crib when my oldest was a baby. He's now 7. After he used it, his younger sister and brother both used it as their crib. It has been put together and taken apart (VERY EASILY) and moved 9 times and is still in great shape!We are getting ready to turn it into the full size bed for my daughter, and it converted with 4 simple screw removals.I can't say enough good about this bed. It did everything it was supposed to and held up to our constant moving with no difficulty whatsoever.

Bought this after spending hours searching on the internet for a white crib. This isfor my grandson nursery I made for him in my home .The crib was not what I expected. Hard to put together,looked "cheap", the mattress is very loweven on the highest setting and I would have sent it back but I really needed itASAP so I kept it.I had bought another one for my daughters home from DaVinci and there is such a difference in thequality and it has a higher setting for the mattress. I should have stuck with DaVinci but I wantedto save a few dollarsI got what I payed for.

Assembly issues, Not for institutions

The good : It is inexpensive, and once assembled it does look nice.The bad : VERY difficult to assemble - I had several people look at it to see if I was doing anything wrong. Eventually, I concluded that some of the pre-drilled holes that are meant to countersink the bolts were not drilled nearly deep enough, with the result that the bolts could not reach their target. In the end I elected to drill the holes out deeper myself rather than deal with the hassle of returning it, and that worked, but I'm not sure where that leaves us with respect to the warranty or any ensuing legal issues. We didn't want to jump to conclusions and so tried every way we could to assemble it without modification, to no avail. As a result assembly took 4 hours.Four. Frustrating. Hours.Also, the instructions state that it is "Not for institutional use". The item was bought for use in a church nursery, and we're not sure if that qualifies as "institutional use". We wish the seller had made that clear.Finally, there are stories on the Sears review board that are not that complimentary re Delta customer service, to put it mildly.Bottom line : Inexpensive and nice looking, but assembly may require a "handyperson" as it may not work out of the box and customer service is rumored to be awful. Also, if purchasing for an "institution" - and it's not clear to me what that means - then you may want to re-think it.
