After reading reviews I was concerned about receiving cracked wood, missing or wrong hardware, neither of which happened. The espresso color is a good strong coffee color, and is quite nice. There was no damage on the piece, it was easy to put together, and compared to the first "antique" crib I had for my first child, this was much more modern with rounded corners on the spring platform where the mattress sits, and included conversion piece for crib to toddler bed. This is the fourth crib I have owned and I think it may be the nicest. It seems sturdy, but not a toe breaker if one was to stub a toe. I spent hours looking at cribs in all price ranges and this was the one I liked the best out of all of them. I was looking for a crib to fit in a medium sized space, and one that did not have a raised back since I know that there is bound to be a crib tent in my son's future and the crib tent I have will not accommodate cribs that have uneven sides. I have owned a Dream on Me mini portable folding wood bed and had fine customer service experience so I was willing to take a chance on this beautiful bed.

Crib looks promising, but after days of trying to assemble it and scratching our heads when the pieces just wouldn't come together - we finally realized it is because Dream On Me packaged the WRONG SCREWS into the hardware. ALL 10 of the main screws were an inch too short, hence why the pieces would not bolt together. On top of that, the 3/4 inch smaller screws were also shy of the full length, thus those will probably be a problem too. Unbelievable that the majority of hardware was packaged incorrectly. Wasted so much time, mental anguish, not to mention trying to find alternate appropriate hardware since I'm not sure when we will receive the corrected hardware.

i ordered this crib for my daughter and it actually looks better in person. i love it and it arrived quickly and not damaged and it has teething strips on it which is great! overall i just love it and you cant beat the price!
