The 3-star review is based on the fact that after 2-weeks, we found the brand new fleece to be very comfortable. However, it is already beginning to pack down into ridges that are getting more and more difficult to re-fluff. Thus, we have to assume that it will continue on to permanent ridges and that will not be a high-rated product. We emailed the manufacturer for advice and were a little surprised to receive the following: "It does what you describe and that is normal. It still continues to benefit you however. If it's not going to work for you remember you have a 30 Day. Contact the e-tailer you purchased it from and return. Regards." We emailed again and asked for specific instructions and received the following response: "Try to hand vac. with the upholstery attachment. Regards." Thus, we have concluded that the manufacturer feels that the fleece packing down into hard ridges is "normal" and has few suggestions for really fixing the problem.

We have a foam bed and my pregnant wife complained about every day how hot her bed was-- but since we put the SnugFleece on, on she hasn't complained once. She still likes the temperature of the room to be pretty cold (maybe 70*F), so I don't know that I would say this is a miracle fix-- but the difference it made was huge.

I generally don't sleep very well and have spent tons of money trying to improve the quality and quantity of my sleep hours. I bought a tempurpedic which helped with my back problems but mattress pads usually made the bed like a rock. I used a very thin one they recommended for a couple of years but it made me sweat and I would wake up wet because it didn't breathe. I thought the wool mattress pad might "give" so the bed wouldn't turn into rock and it might breathe so I wouldn't marinate in sweat. Glory be, it worked! I'm sleeping better, my bed is comfy, and even though it's turning very warm out in Phoenix, I'm not waking up sweating!!! I haven't had it on long enough for winter warmth, but I'll bet it will feel snuggly. I'm a happy camper!
