My baby slept in it in our bedroom for one month before moving to the crib in her own room.When she's two months old we moved this bassinet in the living room. She slept in it during the day.She is now 5 months old (16lbs) and we use it only as an extra diaper changing table in the living room. Too small for her now.The quality of this bassinet is better than those sold at babies r us.The product description: It is NOT wood bassinet, and it is NOT hand-finished wood frame.

We bought this for our newborn and have been really happy with it. It's very sturdy - which was my major concern with two dogs in our house. It fits perfectly in a little corner of our room, and our son slept in it every night for about three months until he moved to his crib. He hated his crib at first, so this bassinet was the perfect size for him to feel protected. He also really liked the heart beat noise maker that it comes with.Also, Amazon was fabulous with this product! We ordered it and had it shipped over-night (because we couldn't take any more nights of the baby screaming in his crib). Not only did the product ship fast, but we got it the next day just as expected in great condition! Really was a life saver!!!

This bassinet is even nicer in person than the pictures. I bought this for my daughter for her new baby. They have been using this for the past three weeks day and night and they love it.It is easy to put together and not the usual bassinet. It is sturdy and useful for keeping baby near. It is a wonderful product.
