The mattress arrived in good packing condition in very timely manner; thanks to Amazon. I purchased this as a cost effective alternative to Monarch Crib Mattress also by Colgate but was extremely disappointed.First the pros:- It fists the crib perfectly,- It is relatively lightThe cons:- The mattress does not have any vents as described on the second image.- We are having hard time to figure out which side is the firm side since both sides feel alike in firmness.- Firmness is does not compare to the ones we tries in the store, this ones feels less firm.- Local stores have mattress with similar quality for less (after coupons savings). For $249 I expected a bit more. Again the mattress feels like the ones with single firmness and has no vents.Just to be clear the vents are mentioned on the pictures and not in the description but it was a key factor in my decision to purchase this item. The note says that the metal vents are not shown but are there. We do not feel any metal vent under the garmentI will contact the company to correct their information on the site and update my feedback in necessary.
