We bought this bed in preparation for a weekend mini-vacation and have since used it for a few other longer trips. It has held up perfectly, no problems with inflation level even after multiple running dives from a very excited 2 yr old boy. He bounces all over this thing and we never had to add air during even a week-long hotel stay. We travel with lots of extra blankets...have him sleep on top of a fluffy comforter as I personally don't care for the the colder feel of just a sheet on an air bed and figure he wouldn't either. The other reviewer must have gotten a lemon....we've been amazed by the durability. One other note, we didn't bother with the optional cover. I could see the benefit if you were camping maybe, but for hotel stays it's definitely not a necessity.

Very easy to inflate/deflate with the included pump - took less than 30 seconds each time. Pump is loud, but it's for such a short time that I didn't mind that.My daughter (2) has a toddler bed with a rail, and she often ends up pushed against the rail in her sleep, and this mattress had enough side support to keep her from scooting off. However, even if she did scoot off, it wouldn't be a big deal, since it's so close to the floor.I love that you can use regular crib sheets with this! I used a waterproof mattress pad and then a normal sheet. The mattress portion does deflate just slightly throughout the night, but that's normal of any inflatable mattress. It wasn't much, and I just re-inflated it before putting my daughter to bed the next night.Also, this bed wasn't noisy like so many other inflatable mattresses! No squeaky noises when she moved around during the night.Comes with a carrying bag that fits the "frame", mattress, and pump. Small and light-weight. Plastic seems very durable.

We bought this as an alternative to lugging around a pack and play. It deflates significantly overnight. Since its made up of two pieces, my son got stuck face down in between the mattress part and the side. This terrified me and we returned the product and bought a one-piece toddler air mattress instead.
