My daughter got in the habit of sleeping on our temperpedic bed, so after reading all the reviews about how soft this is and how amazing other pples kids sleep on it I bought it. Within the first few days the blue cover ripped at the seams, one side was ripped off entirely so my mom sewed it back. Well that only lasted a few weeks and it tore off again, she said it was sewn too tight, not enough fabric so stretch across. Anyhow it was very cheaply put together and doesn't feel soft to me at all. My daughter doesn't sleep thru the night on it as she did in our bed, don't know if thats the mattress or her but wouldn't recommend it based on its falling apart at the seams..literally.

I have a 2yr old and I got this mattress because she doesn't sleep well on her crib mattress but seems to love our king size memory foam mattress. So I figured it was time to get her something a little more comfortable (soft) since her infant mattress was now a bit hard. I got this mattress because I was hoping for a nice, soft mattress for her. I can feel that there is some vico padding in there, somewhere, but the amount that is in there must be at a bare minimal because this is not much softer than the one we don't like. This by no means should be considered a "soft" bed. It may be foam, but it is a firm foam. Do not buy this if you are looking for a "memory foam" mattress. We ended up finding a mattress elsewhere that was much cheaper, yet so much more comfortable.
