Adorable bed, great value however...

This toddler bed is absolutely adoable- looks so cute in the room. However...(1) there is a sticker on the headboard that is impossible to get off- I read a review about it and thought it was a silly rant- however it took me a good half hour to get it completely off(2) if you have an active sleeper- one that tends to tumble around the crib- the transition to this bed could be difficult- or little one is three weeks into the bed -and we have it against one wall and cushions on the other side and is still falling out at least once a night.

I love the look of this toddler bed. Took about an hour to put it together-directions were good and pretty easy to follow. Need a second set of hands to help--my 8 year old was able to fill this need. Toddler jumps on the bed and it is holding up.

Disappointed

This is a cute bed but, I am disappointed with the way it arrived at my home. When I opened this box there was only 2 slivers of foam within the entire box. Needless to say the headboard had 3 crushed corners. My daughter was so excited to get a new bed that I felt it wasn't worth the extra effort to exchange because I would probably end up with the same ragged corners because the packing is so poor. I am desperately trying to ignore the ugly cracks on the headboard. If possible do not order online because the packing of this bed is awful, and I totally regret buying this.If the box and padding had been sturdy enough I am sure I would be recommending this bed instead of cautioning against it.

Absolutely the softest for your baby

I loved this for my child in his crib. It was incredibly soft and I knew he was getting the gentlest thing next to his body. My only advice is to use it after the drooling stage. Otherwise the baby drools, then the wool attaches to their face and they can get annoyed. I also loved fleece sheets to make it nice and cozy. This definitely needs to be washed on cold/gentle, and dried on NO HEAT or hung dry. I even resold this at a great price, I would highly recommend it.

Not soft or natural feeling

I had to send this back. I wrote a review that seems to have been taken down for some reason. I will re-post my review and hope it stays up. I received an email from the seller after requesting a return, telling me that this is wool sliver knit to a polyester backing. I don't dispute that it is wool on a synthetic backing. The problem is with its lack of softness and unnatural smell. I personally wouldn't lay my baby on it, even with a sheet over it.

Fits standard mattress size perfectly and baby likes it but it sheds

The size is perfect for a standard mattress size. With the elastic straps in the back, it fits quite snugly and you don't have to worry about it rolling up.The first nap my baby had in it, she seemed quite comfy (she had been waking up more easily prior to that, and preferred our more soft adult bed). The smell was a bit strong at first, but totally natural. It was nearly gone after two washes. Little bits of fur sometimes end up in my baby's hands (from her pinching it), but that will probably dissipate after a little bit more wear once it stops shedding.Update: A few weeks in and we still like this pad, but it's probably not the best thing to put in a crib when your baby is putting everything in their mouth. My baby will often pull clumps of fur out and then eat them! Not a fun surprise to find in her diaper, and I imagine that her digestive system isn't crazy about it either. We've now covered the pad with a cotton sheet, so it still makes her mattress much more snugly, but I'm not sure it has all the same benefits as having your baby directly on the wool.

so very,very cute

This co sleeper is so cute! The sheet that comes with it is very soft. The mattress is a thin pillow plastic type. Not too soft that it will suffocate baby but comfy. I got the coco dot one and it doesnt look bland at all.The co sleeping function is very easy...I just wish you could have the hood thing on it while having the side down. The whole thing is really soft fabric and I cant wait for baby to sleep in it.

Of hundreds of Moses baskets and bassinets, I finally decided to get this. While I have not used it as a co-sleeper, it has been a great stand-alone bassinet for my now-3-month-old daughter. It is extremely sturdy, easy to assemble, adjustable to various heights, and rolls well both on carpet and tile. While I have only used this for one baby, the construction seems like it is capable of withstanding many more.

Sturdy and cute

I purchased this bassinet after weeks of reviewing other products. It was necessary for me to get a bassinet because my room is too small to use that feature on a pack n' play. I finally decided on this one because of the size, mobility, quality and weight capacity of that compared to other bassinets. Many bassinets you see in stores feel very flimsy and cheaply made, and those are all around $100. Arm's reach is a very good brand. Also many of the bassinets you see at see say weight limit 15 lbs, and if big babies run in your family that's a very short time frame to spend that much money on. This one has I believe somewhere around a 24 lb weight limit. Also the co-sleeper option is nice to have if you want to use it. I also wanted soemthing I could move around my house easily (I have a small 1100 sq. ranch). This easily fits through door ways, and isn't crazy wild colors that will look obnoxious in your home. Baby isn't here yet, but I feel confident using this bassinet. The pad feels fine, I know you can't have anything too squishy because of sids, so it should be fine. I bought BRU jersey bassinet sheets that fit it just as well as the non-stretch (air-dry only) sheet it comes with.

Not bad but not great.

Once the crib is assembled it is good, the problem is it's too heavy, complicated to assemble, and the measurements of the changing table do not specify that standard changing pads do not fit. I had to order a special changing pad for it. I didn't love that the mattress support has coils instead of bars making the mattress bouncier. However once the hassle is over everything is good.

Fabulous and Sturdy

This is our second Oeuf crib. It is stylish, simple to assemble and incredibly sturdy! We love the longevity of the design. It has transition from infancy through toddler years. The changing table is a dream. It doesn't require any extra space and is secure for even the most wily baby. The conversion kit is a snap to swap out. Our daughter absolutely abuses her bed and it has stood up to everything with no ill effects.I highly recommend Oeuf's products! Big, happy thumbs up!

great crib!

This is a very sturdy, well made crib with no parts that can come undone. The crib is modern, and looks great in our sons nursery. Assembly was very straightforward and took about 45 minutes. There is no chemical smell to the crib beyond the smell of the wood, which goes away after about 1 week. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the crib after assembly, there is a bit of wood sawdust reside on the surface. Our son is only 4 months old and uses the crib for short naps and playtime, but not for a full nights sleep yet. He got his foot caught between the bars once, not sure if this is usual for kids. He wasn't hurt, just cried a little. I will probably get a mesh bumper for him, since he is quite a mover. I would recommend this crib to anyone looking for a very safe, modern and non-toxic crib. We love it!

Excellent product, heavy duty, sturdy and extensible

We just purchased the Stokke Care 2010 Walnut changing table from amazon's sister site diapers. Note that there are 2 versions of the Stokke Care - the new 2010 model and the old one. This fact is NOT mentioned anywhere on stokke or on the other sites. The newer 2010 model has the baskets for storage and does NOT come with wheels. The older model has lockable wheels, however does not come with the baskets. I think the older model was discontinued due to the risks involved with wheels.Here are our observations:The changing table itself is very sturdy and heavy! You will most likely need 2 people to assemble - the second person mainly to hold the shelves or the frame/sides. The assembly itself could not be easier - just 8 or so steps in a pictorial manual on 1 page. No written instructions needed. A little bit of common sense is helpful as the instructions are not very detailed.It has a pretty good height overall and the changing shelf can be adjusted to two different heights. The topmost setting is almost too high for most people (unless you are over 6 feet tall). Everything is solid wood - no veneers on this one!The curved sides and the bars have no sharp edges at all and match the Stokke crib. The screw sets are walnut brown in color (only 1 choice), so if you choose a lighter color such as cherry, natural or white, the screws will stand out!I liked the fact that there were no harsh chemicals used for the varnish or paint and everything is non-toxic. It is true hardwood not like most tables that have a veneer or are MDF/particleboard.pros:- comes with a custom pad (what Stokke calls a mattress, however it is not as thick as a mattress, more like a changing pad)- like the fact that it has no wheels so no risk of having the table run away if you don't happen to lock it before lifting the baby when changing. This must be the reason why they don't even offer the option of wheels. You will definitely need 2 people to move the table after assembly.- has plastic protectors on the bottom for wood floors- large storage baskets- can change the baby while facing you (unique stokke feature)- has restraint belts- has towel bars and good side storage to store or hang stuff- can convert easily to a student deks - perfect for future use and contemporary stylecons- there aren't any screw holes for the restraints - have to use a philips or other screwdriver to drill the screw in if you want to use the restraint system. Stokke - please pre-drill holes for this the next time on the stokke changing shelf.- had a small dent on the 2 shelves when I received it - had to call Stokke to get them replaced. It took 7 photograps for them to recognize this and send the replacement out via ground shipment. Diapers on the other hand shipped the changing table to us 2-day fedex air and was instant.- 4 screws and washers were missing! Need these to attach the towel bars. Have called them again to send it via snail mail. Stokke - please have a quality analyst check these things - it is unacceptable to pay this amount and have missing screws! [Updated - I received the wrong replacement screws and only 3 of them! I called again and they are sending me a complete screw bag. Please check the screws and qty before you start the assembly to avoid disappointment]- the changing pad (or mattress) does NOT come with a cover - need to get a separate Stokke terry cover, costs extra! Stokke should include this with the pad- the wood does have a lot of grains on them, the pictures on the web do NOT show this, not sure if this is only with the walnut color or if the others also have the same pattern. I think maple wood would be a better choice, but then it would increase the cost.overall, a very good buy inspite of the minor issues with the damage.

Fantastic Changing Table!

Words cannot really describe how fabulous and functional this changing table is....I first saw this table in a store and both my husband and I thought it was really ugly and huge. We thought the fact that you can change your baby facing in front of you instead of facing to the side was wonderful though. We left the store deciding to look elsewhere for a changing table.As the weeks went on though I couldn't get the changing table out of my head and it went from being an ugly large changing table to being a beautifully designed and functional masterpiece. We ended up buying it.Now that we have it in our nursery it is my most loved piece of furniture (and I have some nice pieces). I rave constantly about it - from its roomy changing area to its highly functional side containers which allow you to stock everything you need for your baby at hands length. The shelves are huge and you can stuff things at the back of each shelf that you may not need right away or often and only keep what you need handy at the front. I even have a hamper tied to the side as the table comes with rails.I LOVE LOVE LOVE this table and I love Stokke because we have the crib too and they are both great. Definately recommend it - 5 stars!!!

Have this table for the past 6 months now and really love it. Fully functional, well built. only "downside" is that our future football player is getting too big/tall for the table... Other than that: Excellent product!
